Meet The Team
Dr. Chrissy Davis, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS
Board Certified in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy
Owner, Sports Performance Physical Therapist
Hi, I’m Dr. Chrissy. I am a physical therapist, personal trainer, triathlon coach, and dance/cheer coach. I began dancing on the drill team in middle school and continued through high school and college. In college I was part of the Illini competitive dance team at University of Illinois in Champaign. After college I was honored to be a Luvabull cheerleader for the Chicago Bulls for two seasons.
My dance and cheer experience awakened my passion for fitness and I began running triathlons. I completed my first triathlon in 2009 and have since completed 10 Ironman races as well as countless half Ironman, Olympic, and sprint distance races. Through many years of training, injuries, and work with some amazing physical therapists, I realized that I was fascinated with how the body worked! This drove me to my next love, physical therapy.
Today, I want to be the one to help YOU cross that finish line, surpass your goals, and ignite your passion! I want you to get stronger, effectively and efficiently, so that you AVOID injury and can do your activities to your FULLEST POTENTIAL.
Personally, I am married to Justin and we have a black lab named Harley. When I’m not running or training, I love to read and binge TV shows.

Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Sports Performance Physical Therapist
Growing up, I always had the goal to pursue a career in the field of biology although my initial plan was to seek out job opportunities in animal science. During my experience of training service/therapy dogs in undergraduate college, I was exposed to the profession of physical therapy with a newfound excitement of becoming an integral piece of patient rehabilitation! I passionately played as a softball outfielder and volleyball defensive specialist through high school, and later discovered the joy of distance running/weight training as I completed my physical therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University in 2016. This has fueled my strong interest in orthopedics and sports medicine through my clinical experience has also included neurological and vestibular conditions.
I thrive on lifelong learning, completing my dry needling certification in 2020 and successfully achieving my certification as an orthopedic specialist in 2021 to ensure that my clients receive optimal rehabilitative and preventative care. I excel to create educational, impactful, and exhilarating treatment sessions for my clients with interventions as unique as their personalized goals! I strongly believe in the results produced by hard work and hustle, and look forward to assisting YOU in every challenge!
Recently married, I like to travel, hike, and find new streaming shows to watch with my husband! You may also catch me with an 800+ page fantasy/sci-fi novel or hear me trying to learn new languages via phone apps!
